Saegesser to Run Local GOP: MCRCC Elects New Leadership

Jodi Saegesser of Lake Havasu City was deemed elected as the new Chairman of the Mohave County Republican Central Committee.


Saegesser ran unopposed for the position, and will replace outgoing Chairman Jeannie Kentch. The term of office is two years and thus she will oversee the local GOP activities through the 2026 mid term election.

Saegesser served as Vice Chair of the MCRCC for 8 months, replacing Holly Tolleson, beginning in June, 2024.

Previously, Saegesser worked as a Constituent Service Representative for the late Texas Congressman Ron Wright (R) from Jan 2019 - Aug 2020. She also worked as a Special Projects Director for former Texas Congressman Joe Barton, from 2006 - 2019.

Currently, she is the administrative assistant to District 3 Supervisor, and former State Senator, Sonny Borrelli.

Saegesser has a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science, Government ,and Geography from University of North Texas.

The remaining MCRCC Board positions were filled by: Janet Wilson - First Vice Chair, Barbara Carpenter - Second Vice Chair, Pam Ford - Treasurer, Linda Elkins - Secretary. Jeff Ryder will remain as District 1 Director for the Kingman area office, as nobody else stepped forward to run for the position.
